Course Tips

1st Hole: Play a 160yd club to lay up just in front of the road. This avoids a stroke penalty and gives you a full club into the green.

6th Hole: Play at least 2 clubs down on this short par 3 and play close attention to the wind off the water!

9th Hole: A BIG (and straight!) drive can open up an eagle opportunity on this short par 4.

About the Club

Founded in 1920 by a small group of golf fanatics who couldn’t bear the thought of not playing every summer day while on their favorite Casco Bay Island, the GCGC is celebrating 90 years of golfing history on its idyllic seaside links-style course.  The Club now welcomes the golfing public to experience its unique 9 hole layout.  

Noted for its signature 7th hole, where the tee box is shared with the local lobstermen (now and then) and the golfer must traverse the Stone Pier tidal waters to approach the sloped and undulating green, the course offers a splendid view of Casco Bay from every hole.  

Greens Fees


Non-members

Weekdays and Weekends  
Adults (16 and up)  - $50  
Juniors (15 and under)  - $20 
(time restrictions apply)

* 7 Round Play Card (good any consecutive 14 day period, individual, non-transferable) - $250  

Guests of Members - $35
(must be playing with member or be a house guest)
Family of Member (15 and under) - $15 
Guests may play after 5:00 PM, weekdays only, for $20 

* Guest of Member 10 Play Card (one per Membership per Year) -  $295

Course Closing All Day for Private Event - Only $1500 !                          

Chebeague Island Year Round Residents after 5PM - FREE
(With annual registration pass)   

All golfers must be registered (signed-in) prior to play 

  • Greens fees are charged for guests of Members participating in Men’s and Women’s Day events
  • No greens fees charged for Junior Clinic
  • Non-Members playing in Swatfests: Adults- $5 Greens Fee, Juniors-No Fee
  • Non-Members playing in Family or Lobster Bake Scrambles: Adults-$10 Greens Fee, Juniors-No Fee.

RENTAL FEES

Motorized Golf Carts (limited number available, 18 holes)

Non-Member      $20/PP
Carts may be reserved by depositing the cart fee with the clubhouse 

Pull Carts        $6 per day 
(Drivers license or credit card required as security deposit on rentals)

Course is open to all with the understanding that planned groups have priority. 

    Monday mornings until 11:30 am until Labor Day (Lady’s Day)

    Thursday mornings until 12 noon until Labor Day (Men’s Day)

    Thursdays between 3PM and 5PM until Labor Day (Clinic Participants)

    Saturday, July 3rdth (*Monday, July 5th) 8:45AM to 1PM (Swat Fest)

    Saturday, Sept 5th (*Sunday, September 6th) 8:45AM to 1PM (Swat Fest) 

COURSE CLOSED FOR CLUB EVENTS ON:
